Fuel the Future: Help Build Brighter Paths!

Imagine wanting to go to college, dreaming of the future you want to build for yourself but knowing it’s out of reach—not because of your drive, but simply because the money isn’t there. Imagine needing to work just to get by, helping support your family as a teenager, and having to put your dreams on hold. That’s the reality for many resilient, hardworking students. It’s why I chose to volunteer with Education First, a nonprofit that focusses on students who have overcome major challenges in their lives and have come out with the drive, determination, and resilience to succeed in building a better future for themselves, for their families, and also for their communities. These students often sit at senior night events and watch those of their peers whose lives have been without as many challenges, receiving awards and scholarships while their monumental efforts go unseen and unrecognized.Education First seeks to change that by providing resources and recognition to these exact youth; the ones who have demonstrated their ability to face down a challenge, while maintaining their attention on a bright future.

I’m reaching out because I am passionate about empowering youth to create their own paths forward while they transform their own lives, and I’d love for you to join me in making that possible for these students.
