Thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraiser. I am the interim regional director for the San Diego branch of Education First, a non-profit seeking to make college education an equal opportunity for all. Many of you know my personal story of being from a refugee family making a new life in this country. My parents, siblings, and I couldn't have succeeded without the generosity of the community around us. I decided to become involved with Education First because we harness our strength as a community to provide students with an opportunity to suceed.
At Education First, our mission is to empower resilient students who have overcome significant obstacles in their pursuit of education. These remarkable individuals have demonstrated extraordinary determination, and we believe they deserve every opportunity to achieve their dreams. Through your generous contributions, we have been able to provide 16 scholarships to such deserving students each year.
As we approach another scholarship award cycle, we are humbly seeking your financial support to continue our vital work. Your donation will directly contribute to the future of these students, enabling them to access higher education, develop their potential, and build a brighter future.
