Enable first generation college students to excel!

I am raising money to provide needed college scholarships and coaching to students like Jorge Meraz that have overcome severe adversity to pursue a college degree. Despite facing hardship, he plans to study construction management at Colorado State University and assist his father in the family business.

I volunteer for Education First where we identify and support low-income typically first generation seniors in high school who are determined to graduate from college. On average, an individual with a degree can earn over a million dollars more in a lifetime than someone with just a high school diploma. A $5,000 scholarship goes a long way!

Impacting first generation scholars drives a national culture change that levels up everyone: siblings, parents, cousins, friends - everyone realizes what is possible. Let's stop talking about problems, statistics, numbers and do something about it. That's my motivation!
