Making College Dreams a Reality During a Pandemic

I am raising money to provide needed college scholarships and coaching to students like Dilan Robles that have overcome severe adversity to pursue a college degree. Dilan plans to become a civil engineer, attends University of California, Davis and will be the first in his family to earn a college degree.

This non-profit is one that is close to my heart as I resonate and find my own path to college reflected in these students' stories. Having been part of this organization for a couple of years, I often wished that there was a scholarship opportunity like Education First when I was a high school student with dreams of attending college. I eventually did but it was a slow and long track triying to figure it all out as many children from immigrant families usually do.

Reduced 2020 Donations are Causing a Fall in Scholarship Amounts

I volunteer for Education First where we identify and support low-income seniors who are determined to graduate from college. On average, an individual with a degree can earn over a million dollars more in a lifetime than someone with just a high school diploma.

Please Help me close the financial gap for underrepresented students by making sure next year's recipients won't see a drop in their scholarship amounts.
