Making College Dreams a Reality During a Pandemic

I am raising money to provide needed college scholarships and coaching to students that live the Portland, OR metro area. These students are working through this pandemic to overcome the challenges of finishing high school on time and preparing to pursue a degree next year. Many students in the Portland area are faced with housing and financial instability, as their parent(s) may be unemployed at this time or they are essential workers who are working everyday to keep the family going. Many of the students in Portland that I am raising money for will be the first in their family to earn a college degree.

Reduced 2020 Donations are Causing a Fall in Scholarship Amounts

I volunteer for Education First where we identify and support low-income seniors who are determined to graduate from high school and go on to college. On average, an individual with a degree can earn over a million dollars more in a lifetime than someone with just a high school diploma.

Help me close the financial gap for underrepresented students by making sure next year's recipients won't see a drop in their scholarship amounts.
